Green bell pepper is the vegetable richest in vitamin C in the garden: 80 mg/100 g, which is more than orange¹. The organic silicon in bell pepper is involved in the synthesis of collagen, elastin, and keratin². With age, silicon reserves drop drastically: by age 40 you’ve already lost more than half³. Red bell pepper contains 120 mg of vitamin C per 100 g, which is three times more than an orange. It also concentrates capsanthin, a carotenoid responsible for its red color, whose antioxidant activity is superior to that of beta-carotene²: 3468-3472). Quercetin, a natural antihistamine flavonoid, is present at significant concentrations (15 mg/100g in red bell pepper).

Cold Press Extractor Preparation

Ingredients:

  • 5 to 6 green bell peppers
  • 2 peeled oranges
  • 1 peeled lemon

Clarification: GREEN pepper, not red or yellow. Green pepper (unripe) concentrates more silicon and chlorophyll. If the taste is too strong, add 1/3 carrot juice to sweeten.
